I will be going to a site that has GE Microversatrip trip units. I will need to determine the LSI settings that are programmed for each 480V breaker. Does anyone have a suggestion where to find a step by step button/screen selection list, to view the settings. I have to prepare a written method of procedure, which includes step by step direction.

Have you downloaded the breaker manual and looked at the setting instructions? The GE website isn't the friendliest out there, but they do have all their old manuals available.

I'll give it a try again. I had trouble finding the information due to GE site un-user-friendliness.

The first step will be to determine the exact trip unit that you are dealing with. "MicroVersaTrip" applies, unfortunately, to several generations of GE trip units. You will need the **exact** type and model description.

Also, trip units made for Insulated case breakers can have slightly different settings than trip units made for Low Voltage power circuit breakers, even though the trip units seem basically identical.

If there any original shop drawings available, these would be helpful.

But regardless of the type, the settings are clearly visible from the front of the trip unit via plug rating and dial settings. The problem is that you may need to open the breaker compartment door to get a peek at it. A digital photo of the front of each trip unit is a really nice thing to have in your files. This will generally give you the trip unit type/model as well as the settings.
