Jul 14, 2005 #3 Configurator New member Sep 11, 2004 152 US There are a bunch of ways to make things in CATIA. Some people might say: make a disk and add teeth to it. That would work too, but I don't like it. I'll often try to model things as they'll be built (though this isn't always best for CATIA). How would I machine a gear? I'd turn a disk, diameter equal to my design tooth diameter, then I'd cut out the teeth. So that's what I'll do in CATIA. Lee http://www.lmco.com Upvote 0 Downvote
