Generating PDF files using Batch Plot Utility in AutoCad 2000

I'm going to ask this question again as I hope everyone has simply ignored the first time I asked it and that there is a solution. I really can't believe that I have "stumped the band" on this one. Has anyone been successful in generating many PDF files in one sitting from the Batch Plot Utility in AutoCad 2000? If you have, how is your program configured? For some reason mine never works when trying to generate PDF files.

There are several programs that handle HPGL, and other formats, to PDF. Refer to the post that BertRaccoon made on this subject here in this forum.

Thanks for the post RIVIERACADMAN! I was starting to think I was invisible. I am aware that there is third party software for this but I would like to utilize Autocad's own batch plot utility to produce Pdf's. You could basically set it up and go do something else while the Pdf's are generated. I can do this now if I want hard copy printouts. I just wish I could bulk-generate Pdf's automatically.

You may want to try Win2PDF or DWG2PDF. Here's the sites:

Win2PDF allows you to print to PDF. Use your batch plot utility and your done. DWG2PDF I have never used, but should be a good program. Good Luck.

I use pdfFactory and finePrint. I haven't had a problem, these programs work great for this application.
