I'm wondering whther there is any easy way of inputting joint loads into Abaqus, directly from a list either in text format or from excel sheet.
Iam aware that it is possible to generate joint loadings through python scripting, so that I can write a python script to read off from a text file or a excel file.
Iam looking for the possibility of any other methodology.

There is no other method. Either you import it with Python into A/CAE or you have a text file with the correct Abaqus format and you link it to the .inp with *Include.

I'm not an Abaqus user, but if Python is the only way to script Abaqus, that can easily be linked to an Excel spreadsheet using xlwings or similar.

It should be straightforward to generate loads in Excel, then call the Python code with a short bit of VBA.

Thanks Mustaine.
Managed to cobble up a VBA code to do the needful.
