generative sheetmetal DXF function reducing part size!

When I have larger sheetmetal parts the dxf function in generative sheetmetal design scales them down so that they are around 1 - 2 inched total, as opposed to the 30 inches + that they are supposed to be. what is that about? It works with smaller parts just fine. Could it have something to do with my drafting workbench being set for MM (num.dimm) as opposed to (num.dinc) as I would like it to be? I have already created custom sized sheets that are very large, but even on those it saves smaller when going to dxf.
