I am using ETAP to model a generator with an exciter?

I am trying to understand the effect of the S100 and S120 parameters of the generator.

What is the range of each of these two values? Do they differ between various software? How does it affect system performance?

So what about these values for the exciters? what is the range?

S(1.0) and S(1.2) represents the value of saturation of synchronous machine at field voltage Efd of 1.0 and 1.2 p.u., respectively. These are the degree of saturation of the machine and how far it deviates from the air gap line of the machine. If you like more information about these, please have a look on open and short-circuit characteristics of synchronous machines.
