Recently the winding in the stator of our onan cummins DGDA 85KW generator burnt out. We have now replaced the old stator with a new one. However the generator will not start. Before we pulled the generator apart we started it just fine. Now in order to start we have to put a jumper to the fuel injection pump form the positive terminal of the battery. It seems that there is no power going to the fuel injector pump form the circuit board that monitors the running of the engine. The electrician that wired it ensures me that he wired it correct and adamantly recommends that we change the board because this is what is causing the problem. Any suggestion on how to remedy the problem.
