Hi all,
The system administrator just loaded 1899 on my box. I had read about the enhancements to Generic Motion giving you the ability to create your own custom cycles etc. We have been adding automated deburr tools to a lot of our program, mostly made by Heule. I've been salivating over my own cycles to drive the tools as it is tedious when you have to add them to hundreds of holes in a single part.
Anyway, I reviewed the doc info (not very good) then viewed the video on youtube that was posted by Siemens but it is version 1847. I found the 3 features in modify dialogue, turned them on, Conditional Move and Loop Move are visible but Reference Subop is nowhere too be found. I called GTAC and got "let me look into it", which I think was GTAC speak for I don't have a clue how it works. Also it doesn't appear that the 2 that showed are working correctly, the doc show operators under them in a tree style format, mine don't appear to do anything.
Anyone out there willing offer a pointer or two, the location of a tutorial would be fantastic.
Regards, Frank
