How do I eliminate the on screen lables for each line,arc,spline,ect... from being displayed on the screen next to the item it references?? I am working on a model from an early vs. of unigraphics and can not find how to turn off the lables. Using nx 7.5

How 'early' a version of Unigraphics are we talking about?

But the version aside, try going to...

Preferences -> Visualization -> Names/Borders

...and select the 'Off' option under 'Object Name Display' and hit OK.

John,
Thanks I knew there was a simple toggle just could not find where it was. As for the vs I can not quite tell. The print was made in 1968 (cadd and hand drawn) and has been white washed thru vs nx6 before I recieved it. Last time I saw a print like this one was at McDonnel Dougles back in the late eighty's.

Well, 1968 would have been a bit before even Unigraphics, let alone NX. United Computing delivered their first seat of Uni-Graphics (that's how they spelled it back then) in September 1974. Note that I started using UG in August 1977, by which time McDonnell Douglas had purchased United Computing.
