Hi all,

I would like to get attributes from a feature.

Currently, I copy and paste from the feature to the part. But it´s a non-associative copy.

Thanks in advance,

When creating the part attribute, instead of copying and pasting the value from the feature attribute, use the "link to expression" option and choose the feature's attribute expression.

hello cowski,

Thank you for your help but I can´t find a way to do it.

My steps are:

1. Create a flat pattern view
2. Go to the properties of flat pattern:

3. Properties of model.prt

I can´t see any place to link any expressions.

NX 11 changed things up a bit. There are two "radio" buttons above "Value", choose the "expression formula" option. The "Value" text entry will change to a drop down entry, choose the "formula" option from the drop down and then pick the feature's attribute expression.
