I've been working on my suspension geometry. I've come to setting my ackerman but something started going weird. To get Lotus Suspension Analyser to show 100% ackerman I had to move my out rod ends really far. So I did a 2D sketch in Solidworks and it confirmed that Lotus is well out.
Below are screenshots of Lotus Suspension Analyser showing 32% ackerman, and my model in solidworks, which has the exact same geometry with a 2D sketch (in blue) showing that my steering is in fact set to 100% ackerman.
I've run out of steam now so don't know why or what to check. I've double checked that Lotus has the correct wheelbase and it does. I'll do some more checks soon but thought someone might have ideas for what to try.
