Glass Sphere/Ball Cracking Simulation

Hi,

can anybody help me with following situation.

Im trying to get the same in ABAQUS 6.12. I already finished everything for preprocessing.

What Im gettings is

I tried all type of load with minimum and maximum values. For low magnitude of stress, the calculation doesnt finish.

I might have wrong Material Paremeters: My Material Parameters are as following:

*Brittle cracking, type=displacement
Tensile strength (Say 5 MPa), 0.0
Post-peak tensile strength (say 5 Pa), post-peak crack opening displacement
(say, 1e-6 m)
Post-peak tensile strength (say 0.1 Pa), ultimate post-peak displacement (say,
1e-5 m)

*Brittle shear, type=retention factor
1., 0.
0.5, 1e-6
0.01, 1e-5

*Brittle failure, cracks=1
1.e-5
