I have many drawings that use blocks for individual references. They have a txt font I would like to change to romans. I can easily do it by opening the block in the editor and making the change. What I need is a global tool that will change ALL mtext fonts at once, including the blocks. How can I do this?

Copy the romans.shx file to txt.shx. Autocad will now display all txt style text as romans.

Thanks! That worked very well.
