Quick question. Any insight on the best glove material for NH3? We use PVC for most of our other processes, will this material be suitable?

PVC should work fine. NH3 is a small molecule so would expect some permeation through most polymers but it also is not very hazardous at low concentrations. I would not leave a gloved hand in ammonia for hours, though. And I'm assuming that you are talking about ammonia/water solution. Ammonia vapors will dissolve in sweat and the fumes can bypass the glove though the sleeve.

Thanks for the reply! We deal with ammonia/water solution as well as NH3 as a compressed gas. Norco just got us some butyl gloves but I was mostly curious about PVC as well as.
