Could anyone shed some light for me on the approximate cost for a 90 foot span glulam beam, with about 11" wide x 66" deep?
Thanks.

Here's a crazy thought: call a supplier.

For a GLB that size delivery is also a factor.

As EOR's we should take the responsibility to design our structures to support the components we allow in our design per that industry standards.

That's almost exactly the size of 2 beams that I put into a building 25 years ago. I had no idea of the cost then & even if I did it would be irrelevant now. The glulam supplier provided engineering, shop drawings, and pricing for the whole package together. How much are the tires on your new car?

That's only 9,072 BF and that piece would be 15,963 pounds in Southern Pine. Of course, standard industry width is 10 3/4" not 11". We've made a single piece up to 45,000 pounds. Fun moving that thing around in the factory!

Yes, get in touch with several manufacturers. Contact American Istitute of Timber Construction (AITC) for a list of manufacturers in USA. I can't imagine you need just one stick like this. Is there an entire roof system?
