I have been scouring the internet looking for a solution to a problem.

Unfortunately, my employer has no IT people working here, and the one they do have has no knowledge of the toolkit. This is only the second time (in as many releases) I have had to install (extract) the toolkit myself. I stumbled through the first time, and it worked for the last two years. I have not had a lot of call for DCS compliant drawings lately, so I have not updated to NX3 or the toolkit until this week.

The problem:

The GMLaunch.bat and .dat files seems to be working fine. The GMLaunch 5.0 java window comes up; I select Native UGNX 3.0, the command window comes up showing the bat files loading. At this point there is an error coming from the ugii_resource.bat saying that 'ATTRIB' is not a recognized internal or external command, program, or batch file. This area of the ugii_resource.bat is completely different than the last toolkit version, however, UG continues to load. Once UG is loaded, the GM/PDL 3-C and GM Help pull downs are there, and the toolbars can be loaded. However once you select a toolkit command (i.e., file checker, dcs organize, etc.) that loads a dll, I get the error "Failed to load image - see log for details". (There are no details in the log to be seen.) It also gives the path to the dll file (which is correct), and shows "ufusr". It shows this same error even if I go to "File -> Execute -> NX Open" and load anything from the toolkit manually.

I am at a loss on this. I have tried everything that I can think of, but I am not a programmer by any means. Any help or direction that you could provide would be most appreciated.

Just wanted to thank nkwheelguy (Tim Flater) for directing me over to the GEES service desk. They sent me a different gmalaunch.dat file to try, and it solved my problem. It was definitly a much newer dat file than the rehashed one that comes with the GMlaunch5.zip file on GTAC.
