Goldak ABAQUS AM

Hello everyone
When I run AM simulation in ABAQUS, I need to use Goldak in moving heat source, but I need to define
# subdivisions in x-direction (SubDivX), # subdivisions in y-direction(SubDivY), # subdivisions in z-direction(SubDivZ).
and I don't have enough knowledge to know the meaning of these parameters.
I hope someone else can help me!

Those are the parameters of the box toolpath-mesh intersection. They are described and shown in figures in the following documentation chapter: Analysis --> Analysis Techniques --> Additive Manufacturing Process Simulation --> Toolpath-Mesh Intersection Module --> Box Toolpath-Mesh Intersection.
