This application is a database which gives immediate access to information regarding the sizes/dimensions of most of the fittings (butt weld) in use in industry (1/2"÷40" ASME and UNI); thus saving the user from having to consult any number of catalogues or tables; the aim of this application is to make available quickly these dimensions, applying the standard rules, by few choices of the user.

The front end for Octave is the good old command line. Like Matlab.

The nearest I've seen for a Simulink-ish environment is Scilab/Scicos. It may not look as silky as Simulink, but as well as the causal block modelling ability, it also supports Modelica.

I saw that list on wikipedia but couldn't figure out which one to try.

Which one didn't work? I'll try to the other.
 

Single purpose software. Plots x vs y for every channel in your data, can also stratify by attribute.

Warning, it does no stats, it is purely a visual tool. If you have lots of channels of data and don't know which ones are related, this is your program.
