Hi all,
I'm currently a facilities engineer focussing on surface production facilities with 3 yrs experience. I have recently developed liking for production engineering and was looking to get materials for self paced learning.
I have attendended some basic and fundamental technical classes on Artificial lift systems.
1. I want to get DVDs that have good teaching (if possible with animations or actual videos) of:
a. Artificial list systems
b. basics of drilling engineering/Operations
c. basics of reservoir engineering
d. Completions engineering/operations
e. Production engineering and operations (which is my main desire)
f. and any other thing that will help in production engineering besides artificial lift systems
2. Second question: apart of following production, recommending artificial lift, optimizing well performance, etc. What are the typical functions of a productin engineer, any contribution will be appreciated as I'm new to this area of upstream operations.
Thanks a lot.
As much as possible, do it right the first time...
