Gorilla Glass 3 tensile strength? 1

I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find any info on the tensile strength of any version of Gorilla Glass 1, 2, or 3
Normal glass seems to have a tensile strength of around 50MPa. Gorilla Glass 2 was demonstrated to be stronger and more impact resistant than aluminum, so (assuming an modulus of 70GPa) it should have a tensile strength of >300MPa (just a guess)

Does anyone have any hard data on the tensile strength of Gorilla Glass 3 (their latest version)?

Silicate glass materials are not more impact resistant than aluminium alloys, they are more scratch resistant.

Corning is careful not to outright mention the tensile strength of Gorilla Glass. The information they do release is here:

Here is a competitor product, Xensation by Schott:

It lists a 4-point bending strength of 800 MPa, and I think Gorilla glass would be similar.

Actually, Corning did this demonstration where they dropped a steel ball onto two identical panels of Gorilla Glass 2 and aluminum (not sure which alloy) and the aluminum had this massive dent in it while the ball just bounced off the glass - no damage.

OK, I understand for that application. This is not how impact resistance is defined in the materials engineering community when comparing materials.

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot about that.
It would definitely take a lot of force to actually break (not just dent) aluminum.

Anyway, what about Corning Willow Glass? Is that just the same thing as Gorilla Glass but much thinner?

Also, can Gorilla Glass come in different shapes besides just flat panels?
I'd like to make things like cups and bowls out of that stuff.

No, Willow Glass is alkali-free borosilicate glass while Gorilla Glass is alkali-aluminosilicate glass with chemical strengthening. You should discuss your applications with Corning and their competitors.
