As an extension to an earlier thread ( I'd like to inquire about going back to grad school in Biomechanics.
I've been a Mechanical Engineer since 1993 and now I'm thinking about switching into Biomechanics, starting by going for a PhD in Biomechanics. Is there is good funding in the area in general? What job prospects to expect after graduation? And with a Masters in Solid Mechanics, would there be a big gap (complete absence of any Bio-science classes from my transcripts) between what I know and what I'll learn?
Appreciate all your replies.
