I am trying to create a JPG image of one of our valves for use on our web site. I have extruded text in three areas that is extruded blibd to a height of .002". When I orient the model in an isometric orientation and fit the body to the screen I get some background bleedthrough around the text. When I zoom up around the text it looks perfect. But the further out I zoom the worse it looks. Don't misunderstand I'm not zooming out so far that I shouldn't be able to read the text. I just seem to be getting more distortion than I should. I have a very high end graphics card and my resolution is 1280 x 1024. Is there any way to render the part so I don't get this effect. Keep in mind, my final goal is to export a JPG image that will look nice on our website. Any help is appreciated. Ken Johnson

We have had to change the font to get decent JPGs. But, I tell you, It's a real hit and miss to get things you like.

We usually import an image to another publishing package and add text there.

You can try adding light fonts, so they reflects on the text. You'll have to move arround until have a good view. it's not the best way but can be useful

Hi Ken,

If you are working with 2000i, go under VIEW -> MODEL DISPLAY -> choose SHADE tab and enable SMALL SURFACES.

For 2001, the same thing under VIEW -> DISPLAY SETTINGS -> MODEL DISPLAY...

And use ALT+PRINTSCREEN keys to store the image in windows clipboard. Use CTRL+V to paste it in your program. You can change the background to white if you don't like the default background. Do not use PRO/E JPEG export because the quality is poor.

Good luck,

-Hora
