While browsing through various blogs and forums, I came across a forum where the discussion was about a green roof house. The roof of the house is covered with thick coat of mosses and it is all green through out the year. I wondered that we always say ask the house owners or building owners to make sure that there should not be water settling or ice set on the roof, unless they are well maintained. And even the roofing services residential/commercial always recommend proper maintenance of the roof, so that the settling of water doesn't lead to premature aging of the roof.
This green house has caught many interests and there are people who actually are requesting such roof. Is this to be promoted, because knowingly we will be taking a risk with a roof which will be 365 days wet. What's your thought on this?
