Is anybody out there aware of,
standards for testing of compression strength of FC 30 grade cast iron.

I could not find any reference to the compression strength in both the JIS and IS standards. There's plenty of information about tensile strength and flexural strength.

A google search told me that, the compression strength should be 3-4 times tensile strength. But, no information about the test bar size again.

You can conduct the testing according to ASTM E 9 Standard Test Methods of Compression Testing of Metallic Materials at Room Temperature. It is true that a 3X factor for compression:tension strength is common for iron castings.
