I know, but I have searched the internet, and could not find anything about this. Is it covered in any specs? What is the pressure integrity for Greylock 14? 10000 psi?

blckwtr,

In my opinion, Grayloc fittings are a well known, well engineered product, but come at a premium price.

One of the primary advantages over flanged pipe design seems to be the ability to route pipes closer together. Additionally, teardown of the connection can be done in a tight space. Both of these features are of great importance in applications such as offshore oil platforms...

Hi.
I am interested in anyones experience in using 'Loload' spiral wound gaskets.
In particular in the situation with bolting together ANSI.B.16.5 Slip On Flange to Weld neck flange.

It has been suggested that using a traditional 'spiral wound' gasket is not recommended due to potential difficulties in torquing up, sufficient to give metal to metal contact.
