Grinding mark on low pressure fittings

Hi all,

I need some advise on the following issue.
My customer just rejected some 150# low pressure screw fitting due to some grinding mark on the surface.

Is there any standard stating that slight grinding mark is allow. I browse through ASTM A351, but could not found anything related to
grinding/surface finishing.

Anyone can help?

ASTM A802 should tell you what you need to know. Also, the customer drawings may give you the finish requirements.
