GRIP - Sketch Object Type

Now, I know the general concensus is that we shouldn't be using GRIP, but regardless, I still have a question.

Apparently a Sketch has an object type of 134.

However, using 'InextE/ All', I'm not able to identify the Sketch itself, only the objects (Lines, Arcs etc...) that make up the sketch.

What I'm trying to do is change the color of a Sketch and I simpy don't have the time to recreate with a Journal.

Any suggestions ?

Not to harp, just that I think GRIP enhancements may not have outlasted V13, hopefully John can chime in to confirm. Because that you mean that if you could identify elements within a sketch then it may only work with the Pre-V13 sketch making it very rare indeed. However I'll go one step further because I believe that the code that is used to analyze sketches underwent another substantial change for NX-5 so again there is a slight doubt in my mind that even if GRIP could ever do what you're asking it would possibly not work post NX-4.

However you may still be able to do it if you can arrange to isolate the sketch and then select all of type curves.

You could possibly be correct, as running the code in NX3 doesn't identify the Sketch either.

I'm actually trying to bring some old files into line with the new NX5 color palette.

Using Info->Object on a Sketch Object returns :

Type Line
Color 3 (Medium Lemon)
Display Color 31 (Cyan)

Using Info->Object on the actual Sketch returns :

Type Sketch
Color 7 (Pale Sky)

Now, the Sketch looks (to me) to be Cyan inside/outside of the Sketcher, so I'm not sure where the Pale Sky / Medium Lemon come into it.
