Grippers: Help w/drawing verifications

Hi folks,
I have a problem that I need some help with. Some existing grips that I have written, as well one that I'm currently working on, is crashing out. I think I know what the problem is, but am having trouble verifying it. Essentially, I need a way via grip, or otherwise, to prove whether or not drawing sheet 1 was copy/pasted for drawing sheet 2 within our seed part files.
I've written a program that goes through our dwgs and removes/replaces existing format patterns with our new ones. The problem is that on some legacy drawings, and the latest/greatest seed part files for a couple of different size dwgs (as in when you create a new dwg or specification) the routine either craps out or you end up with a sht 1 format on sheet 2.
I suspect one of our standard librarians updated the seed parts by performing a copy/paste of sheet 1, and then editing the formats and text as req'd. However, I can't "prove" it... other than showing that by deleting the info and sht 2 and re-creating them that the grips work fine.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can verify that this is what was done or not? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've gone through the Info pull downs with no success... Help please...and I guarantee a shiny new star! TIA

Update (FYI):
I've resolved the issue as described earlier... I was partially correct in that standard librarians did delete and re-create, via copy/paste, selected drawing sheets on several different size drawings. While the copy/paste functionality wasn't causing my problems, the deletion and re-creation of the drawing sheets changed the creation order (verified by the creation date in the navigator), which was causing the problem.
I was able to resolve the issues by revisiting code and adding another counter and conditional statement where needed. Not a big issue but was a bit baffling at the time. Something for me to remember in the future, and yet another reason for thorough testing of not only my grips, but also the changes made to seed parts (no matter how minor the changes seem to be...).
