ground system testing

Does anyone have any experience locating faulted (broken) ground wires on a primary ground system of a good size multi building plant site?
I mean about one million sq ft. total. the grid doesn't extend across that area but for each building only. There are about 10-15 structures. The primary voltage is 27.5Kv.

Any sugestions are helpful.

At this point, you are going to have to do two point tests between buildings or building steel to determine if you have a consistant grid, but it won't tell you HOW they are grounded (pipes, ground grid, etc) Many ground testers can do these tests (biddle, vibroground, etc).

JTK,

I hear you saying I need a TDR meter of sorts to locate/trace the ground cables. Thats fine, I can do that. I have access to the grounding layout plans as well. However I've heard that using a meggar instrument to test the resistance at different corners of the one building you can find out also where the break may be. ( I don't have access to a TDR meter at the moment but I do a ground resistance tester).
