I have a question on groundwater mounding analysis using Hantush equation that i would like to ask the experts here. my understanding of the Hantush method is that the mound will form (in 3D) from the center of the basin and going outwards, as the picture below:

if I have a situation where for a rectangular basin, one of the sides is blocked off, lined for example, how does that affect the shape of the mound on the other three sides? I would think it will push the mound further on the other three, but I am ignorant on how to mathematically calculate that. the Hantush equation has the basin length and width as inputs for calculation. Is there a way to modify those to account for one side cut off? I appreciate any responses/suggestions on this. thanks!
