Hi all,
Although I have used several plc programs in the past, I am having a problem with GXdeveloper. This is the first time I have used it.
Q. When I program a few lines in ladder logic, then try to either save, verify, compile etc the software comes back with a message asking me if I want to delete the ladder logic and will not verify the logic etc.
When I write the ladder logic, no line numbers appear at the LHS of the screen, also the background colour turns to grey as I am writting the ladder logic, and I dont know whether this is normal or not.
I assume that I am missing a very obvious step, but I cant see what.
Any help would be much appreciated.

just to add something.
The message comes back at me after I try and convert using F4.

Is it when you are editing online? or are you offline´?

What is the exact message you get from the GX.
Or can you upload a screen dump?

I have had this problem once, but I can not remember what I did to get it right.'
I have been trying to "force" the message you have told about, but with no luck.

Perhaps you could upload the program, I could have a look at it.
