I have been doing cargo lifts which has a simple construction of 02 nos H beam like 40 cm apart in between a small platform resting on a L brackets moving up and down . The dimensions of the platform is 1.5 mts X .9 cm , the height of H beam is 9 mts . The question is how much load can my platform take? What should I need to do if i want to increase the size of platform?

reading your post, how can anyone help with the info provided?
Dimensions do not make sense. Consider providing a sketch.

If you are looking for engineering services - perhaps hire someone who can help you?

Spend a few $ and hire a professional engineer to help you do what you want to do. Then you will know for sure and the solution will be custom to your situation.

Doesn't matter if you are a small time venture. Eng-Tips isn't here for free engineering services - to verify sizes for members in real projects. That is what we all are in business for.

Hire an engineer if you need that kind of help.
