H2 Pressure Drop vs Power Plant Efficiency(Heat rate)

I work at a Steam Oil Power Plant (2x100MW). In my power plant, the electric generator use H2 as cooling medium. Sometimes, H2 pressure decreases from 2 bar to 1,9 bar. I would like to ask about this. Is this pressure drop has an effect to the decrease of the overall plant efficiency (Heat Rate)? If this is true, Could you tell me the mathematical calculation for the decrease of the efficiency due to the H2 pressure drop? Thanks a lot.

I doubt it would have much effect on the heat rate or efficiency. It is just going to limit the maximum output of generator. If the generator output is reduced, the steam demand is reduced. There could be some minor secondary effects since the heat rate will be slightly different at different operating points.
 
Seems like your windage losses would go down slightly, however the cooling would not be quite as effective, so the resistance losses would go up slightly if it runs hotter.
 
The only gain on heat rate would be the windage reduction but that would be so minuscule that it would be undetectable.
