Regarding closed thread769-192272 want to ask berkshire if Alec picked up your Hamilton Standard drafting table... if for some reason he didn't pick it up and you are still looking to find it a good home, please let me know! I am in Torrance and have been looking for one close by.

It is still here, it is currently a repository for junk.
Make me an offer I cannot refuse and it is yours.

Any chance you can post a pic and dimensions? I'm new to this forum, noticed some rules and don't want to step on any toes. I am serious about checking out the Hamilton so let me know how to proceed. I can also be reached by adding .mac (gasp!) to my username

I just tried your email address and I could not get it to work.
I do not like posting email addresses on here, because of bots .

Thanks for the pictures B.E.

I don't mind saying I can feel a few tears welling up. Ah, the memories.

Best to you,

Hey B.E.

Thank you for the pics. I am not sure why the email didn't work - I wish I could take the table, its great - unfortunately it looks like its too big for my space. Dang.

Same here. I spent 11 years on the board before our company bought a CAD system (35 years ago this past August).

I've got a cheap 'Plan Holder' drawing board in my garage that I inherited from my father but it's being used to hold my shortwave radio equipment.

BTW, berkshire, exactly where is this table located at the moment?

That 'Craigslist' URL doesn't work.

Too bad its too big for you. You have to have lots of room for one of these it is 73" wide X 43 1/2" deep. It also takes 4 guys to carry it assembled.

John Baker.
It is in Escondido about 90 miles from you. On my back porch, which is where those pictures were taken.Contact me direct if you are interested.
It can be dis- assembled for transit.

It's tempting, but it would take up the rest of the space in my garage and I suspect that my wife would think that having a 2nd drawing board is just having two too many to start with ;-)
