I have had the following 'spec' thrown at me and am at a loss as to what it really is. These are DIN 916 fasteners and the material is noted as hardened H/MP.
I believe that the sorce is Australia but cannot find any reference in my sources. Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks

If you need a complete spec. and if you have a few of such fasteners, the best way out may be to reverse engineer them, by analysing and determining mechanical properties.
Note that in the quoted specs., hereafter, the material is not defined.

DIN 916
Revision: 80 Chg: Date: 12/00/80
HEXAGON SOCKET SET SCREWS WITH CUP POINT, ISO 4029

ISO 4029 - Complete Document
Revision: 03 Chg: Date: 12/01/03
HEXAGON SOCKET SET SCREWS WITH CUP POINT

Thanks Goahead
Hopefully we will be able to get an equal. The spec is certainly not complete and that is the challenge here.
