Hardness test for boiler pressure parts welded portion?

Hi,

I would like to inquire if when are we gonna apply hardness test for boiler pressure parts. We will replace final superheater stub tubes (SA213-TP347H).

Generally there are no hardness test requirements for 347H boiler tube welds. but review racookpe1978.

We required that the stub tubes be replaced, and that the tubes be heat treated after welding works (PWHT). Then it will be checked by Phase Array UT, MT, and PT. Make repairs based on the result.

The contractor only required for the supply of new tubes.

We planned to implement the replacement during our planned maintenance schedule in November 2015. Approximately 20 days period.

Also, in addition, does MT works for SA213-TP347H material? I cannot verify it now, not until the boiler unit is shut down.
