Hello ansys partners. i need some help with an acoustic problem.
I´m trying to calculate the transmission loss, over a pipe, using fluid 29 with no FSI and axisymmetric, and when i try to extract particle velocity (smisc,4) just complex values are shown. With nodal solutions (pressure) only the real part are available.
Does anyone can help me ? I need both complex and real part of the results.
i´m aplying a pressure, on the nodes, at the inlet and a impedance, to prevent wave reflections, at the outlet.
I need post processing tips also, like how i can create tables(or arrays) so i can manipulate the pressure results in order to compute, the frequency dependent, transmission loss.
TL = 20*log(p_in/p_out), where p_in is the pressure at the inlet of the tube, and p_out is the pressure at the outlet.
any help will be apreciated ! many thanks
