Hatch selection with selection filter

Can Area Hatch/Fill be selected with selection filter? I am working in solidworks with DXF files, a lot of hatched areas, Time consuming to select every hatch.

Try layers. If a DXF, the layers probably came with it. Turn off layers that are not hatch, then delete as needed.

As a DXF file, I am sure the hatch lines are just sketch lines now and not the actual SW Hatch entity. If so, then you need to just use a sketch line filter instead and use the window selection of the hatch lines and remove. YOu will have to be sure not to grab an object line that is needed.
