I have a simple detention pond with a pump. I have modeled everything, it runs, but my reservoir outflow is 0. What am I missing? Any suggestions?

You need to provide more details about your model.

Is your runoff node generating runoff into the pond?

Yes I have an inflow. I set up a weir just to see if the pond would have outflow then and it does. I know I am missing something simple with setting up my pump. I set initial elevation, assumed no tail water, put in pump curve (elev - discharge table). Filled in the on and off elevations and the elevations of pumping from and to. Do I need a node after the reservoir?

check your reservoir's initial condition/elevation, pump's intake elevation.

I am having issues trying to use pump outlet in the reservoir and keep getting this error. has anyone had this issue before and any suggestions to model pumps in HEC HMS would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
