I am using the "Reinforced Concrete Design" book by Reynolds, to design a helical stairs, but the example is not very clear, and difficult to understand. I need to understand the procedures before designing. Is there anyone who can direct me to another text for more information?
Thank You,,,

My email is iansamaroo@hotmail.com. My area of difficulty is after obtaining the vertical moments, shear, trosion and all the notations from the "Reinforced Concrete Designer's Manual' by Reynolds. The moments, shear, torsion are for various points along the stairs, which moment, shear and torsion am I to use in order to obtainthe area of reinforcement.

Thank you again Riz,
I hope this can help you
