Hello every one ,
I want to ameliorate the filtration of oil used to lubrificate a flender gear reducer ,
and i am going to add a filter before the entry to the gear unit but i can't dimmensionate that filter
here is system details :
oil flow : 315 L / min
Pressure : 5 bar
oil viscosity : 460 cst
what filter do u suggest that i need to use
i am going to joint a picture of hydrauilic schema
the part which is drawn with red is my intervention..thank you

The oil is already filtered by item (20).

WRT your add-on, I see a filter bypass check valve in parallel with the filter.
Additionally, I see another thing that may be a fill/drain mechanism or something else, but the way I read the schematic, the line connecting that to both sides of the filter also bypasses the filter, without restriction.
... so I don't understand how you are improving things.

If the Flender gearbox is still under warranty, you really should clear your plan with Flender.

What's missing? You have flowrate, pressure, viscosity. The only thing missing is filtration level.
