Hello everyone. I am designing a joint connection for the precast concrete walls with the frame structure. I have selected a connection as a M20 bolt is inserted in an angle steel plate with a slotted hole which is fixed in a concrete beam and a backing plate of grade Q235 is inserted inside a bolt and attached with an angle plate using an elastic material such as polyethylene then, the nut is tied using a certain preload. Do you guys think that the connection is flexible enough to resist the seismic load as well as shear load.

What’s the gap for in between the all and the angle ? Is the other end of the angle concrete slab ? Did you consider the differential displacement?
