Hello,
I need some helps on the following :
For a cylindrical vessel designed to ASME VIII, Div 1, with design pressure of atmospheric ( 0 Kgf/cm2 ).
To determine the hydrostatic pressure test, as per UG 99(b) note 34 = Test factor X Design Press X Stress ratio
= 1.3 X 0.0 X 1
= 0.0 KgF/Cm2
Therefore the hydrostatic test pressure would be full of liquid.
Please share some light if the above is correct or other comments, if any.
