I was curious if anyone could point me in the right direction for a supplier of a larger rubber grommet (.25 ID) that has a ferrule incorporated to prevent over tightening of the grommet.

These pieces are used quite often in the automotive sector when securing radiators to cross members and such.

I've tried your typical google search, and found nothing really that promising. Lord has been the closest but they only have small scale #10 screw style grommets.

Thanks

How many do you need and what material?

My company sells to the automotive sector. Are you looking for "standard parts" or are you willing to invest in a mould to produce your own custom articles?

We would purchase 200-400 pieces at a time, material should be neoprene.

I would like to purchase a standard part to avoid tooling charges, but I'm not against it if this is the only option.

Does the ferrule need to be bonded to the rubber?

If not, why not buy a suitably oversized grommet, and cut a piece of thin-wall metal tube to length to slip inside it?
