Hi
From this help I do not understand what is the differense between
•Exact and •Exact (Pre-NX8.5)
Drafting => Working with drafting views => Controlling the appearance of your drafting view =>
General tab => General options
View Configuration
Representation
•Exact – Displays precise model data. Exact views utilize the parasolid hidden line processor with a more memory efficient architecture, therefore offering better performance than the pre-NX8.5 exact views. In an exact view, all of the visible model edges are rendered with extracted edges. The extracted edges can be rendered in either an associative or a non-associative state so that you can manage their update behavior.
•Smart Lightweight – Displays an approximation of the model using a lightweight representation of the geometry. Smart lightweight views utilize a hybrid hidden line processor (HHLP) with a more memory-efficient architecture. In a smart lightweight view, all of the visible model edges are rendered with extracted edges. The different hidden line fonts available for exact views, along with centerline symbols, can likewise be applied to the smart lightweight view. The extracted edges can also be rendered in either an associative or a non-associative state so you can manage the update behavior of the view.
•Lightweight – Displays an approximation of the model as a faceted representation.
For more information, see Lightweight and Smart Lightweight views.
•Exact (Pre-NX8.5) – Geometry displayed in the view reflects precise model data.
Thanks in advanced
