hi..

need help to define the output angle by below two gear...
1) Drive Gear , module :0.7, gear teeth : 30, pcd: 21
2) Follower gear ,module : 0.7, gear teeth :25,pcd :17.5
if, drive gear turn angle 10deg, follower gear turn 8.3deg?(base on gear ratio :0.83?)

anyone can help teach me?
thanks...

If your drive gear has 30T and the driven gear has 25T, then the ratio is 1.2:1. Since your gear set seems to have conventional characteristics, and if we ignore things like backlash, then I believe a 10deg rotation of your 30T drive gear should result in a 12deg rotation of your 25T driven gear.

Hi tbuelna

Thanks for your help and reply.
really appreciated.

I think we should read as ;
Gear Ratio = N2/N1 = A1/A2
Therefore = 25/30 = 10/A2
A2 = 12deg.

N = Gear Teeth
A = Angle.

Hope my calculation is correct...

Thanks!
