Hey guys.
I'm performing a quasi-static loading on a foam(crushable)-filled aluminium tube. I managed to simulate the aluminium successfully, but I can't seem to be able to simulate it together with the foam. The error I'm obtaining is:
***ERROR: The ratio of deformation speed to wave speed exceeds 1.0000 in at least one element. This usually indicates an error with the model definition. Additional diagnostic information may be found in the message file.
I'm not very good at ABAQUS just yet. So if you guys could point me in the right direction. I assume the issue is with the speed at which I'm running the simulation? The amplitude wave perhaps?
Anyway, thanks in advance!
