I'm trying to help a friend on his university project.

He's going to calculate different characteristics of 3 types of cars - petrol, hybrid and electrical.

We are trying to build a graph of momentum and power depending on the rpm.

He has full catalog data on every car and for the petrol one we are able to use Leiderman formula for effective power and then calculate the momentum.

- formula

My question is: Is there a similar formula or can this one be used for the electric motor vehicle and the hybrid car?
Is there a similar way to calculate effective power from given rpm, max rpm and max power like in the formula above?

Any ideas, not sure If I explained it correctly but the graph is popular type.

Thank you!

Write in to the publisher of that textbook and point out the errors (two that stood out at first glance).
