Hide part in assembly when closing part window

Hi,

quick question, why is my assembly part always get hidden when I'm closing a part in an other window? How do I change this feature.

If the part that was closed in the other window contained the part that appears to be hidden in the assembly,
then what happen is that part was closed too,
and therefore disappeared from the assembly that was still open.
 
If you open two different assenblies, each of which contains some common parts, those parts are only opened once but are simply shared by the two assemblies. The same holds true when you close the parts for one assembly, when they're closed they're closed everywhere. This works both 'coming' and 'going'.
