Hi everyone!

I have a question about the NX6 drafting module.

Well, I have a model and a drafting of it. This model has some holes and I want to show them in the drafting, so I tried making hidden lines visible, but it makes all of the hidden lines visible. My question is:

Is there a way to hide all of these undesired lines?
or, is there a way to make only the holes visible?

Thanks!

Although it may take some work, if the model is complex, you can View Dependent edit the undesired hidden lines out.

Thanks a lot 4mranch6. That's what I wanted

The trick is to do it in reverse order.
1) place the view , set all hidden edges set to "yellow" * but visible and solid. * set the hidden lines to some different color than the visible, preferably non-dashed.
2) do the View dependent edit , edit the holes to dashed font. ( now you can see the difference between the manually edited and the non-edited.)
3) set the view hidden lines to invisible.
The manually edited stays dashed whilst all other disappears.

Toost,

This is a fantastic tip. I have used this on several occasions already and introduced the technique to others in the shop. Thanks very much. This has saved a bunch of time already and helped me to make better, clearer drawings.
